Silkid is made by combining the fiber of the finest South African mohair with very fine threads of Chinese silk, the resulting yarn enhances the typical shine of mohair while maintaining a fluffy appearance thanks to the special manufacturing process, the silk threads provide strength and stability, keeping the product completely natural.

The yarn is perfect for hats, scarves, shawls and other small garments. For larger, fluffier items, oversized needles are generally used.
